"We hereby certify that the expertise provided by Mr Grzegorz Panek was instrumental to the completion of the Polish translation of Book IV and Book VI of the Draft Common Frame of Reference (DCFR) [JUST/2010/CONT/PR/0003/A4ABAC30-CE-0405503/00-48]. The commissioned work by the University of Osnabrück's European Legal Studies Institute on behalf of the European Commission took place during the summer of 2011.

Mr Grzegorz Panek's contribution related to:

the development of a specific Polish vocabulary to translate effectively the neologisms and idiosyncrasies of the terminology used in the DCFR,
the internal coherency of the legal terminology used in Book IV "Specific contracts" and Book VI "Non-contractual liability arising out of damage caused to another,"
its adequacy and correctness,
as well as the coordination of the legal terms used in Book IV and Book VI with other sections of the DCFR
and, where necessary, any further corrections in the translation.

Without the dedicated and reliable support of Mr Grzegorz Panek it would not have been possible to finalise the project within the given stringent timeframe."
